We are living in a world of great uncertainty.
How we survive as a planetary family is not at all clear.
The world we leave for our chidren is completely unknown.
For increasing numbers of people around the world
every day can bring untold suffering.
Every day can be a struggle just to stay alive.
The numbers of displaced people grows daily.
The refugees of war and of economics are intimately intertwined.
Environmental refugees are a growing crisis of our time.
Those untouched cannot be complacent.
Those who suffer must not be forgotten.

At Rainbow View as we have followed the deepening humanitarian crisis in Haiti we have been appalled and saddened by the often misrepresentational media coverage and by the misdirected actions of governments that undermine the recovery and empowerment of the Haitian people.

On these pages we have compiled a collection of videos and articles which we have found helpful in deepening our understanding of the Haitian crisis. We offer these pages of our web site in solidarity with the Haitian people in their efforts to make a dignified and empowered transition in rebuilding a Haiti that serves the best interests of its citizens.
